About Dusky Lorikeet
A social small dog living around 20–25 years. The Dusky Lorikeet settles well into households here given shade, water and a routine that respects the afternoon heat.
Vet-examined, vaccinated and dewormed before it is listed. Once the booking is confirmed you see the pet on a video call at pickup.
Caring for a Dusky Lorikeet in central India
- Heat: shade and water are not optional here. Move activity to the early morning from March onward.
- Feeding: portioned to the adult size, with any brand change phased over a week.
- Training: loose-lead walking and reliable recall, both set in the first three months.
- Exercise: two walks a day, and do not over-exercise a young dog while the joints are still forming.
- Checks: an annual vet visit booked before the hot months, not during them.
