German Shepherd | Pure White

The German Shepherd Puppy is a large dog, friendly, typically living its lifetime. Central India runs hot and dry for much of the year, and that shapes the first twelve months with this breed more than anything in the breed standard does.

Health work is completed before listing, and the records travel with the dog.

Caring for a German Shepherd Puppy in central India

• Heat: shade and water are not optional here. Move activity to the early morning from March onward.
• Socialising: new people, surfaces and noises early and often, while it is still easy.
• Teeth: brushed or given something to chew; dental trouble is the most under-treated thing we see.
• Exercise: two walks a day, and do not over-exercise a young dog while the joints are still forming.
• Checks: an annual vet visit booked before the hot months, not during them.
